ความเป็นมาของ “กองทุนพ่อ ๑๙” เกิดจากประสงค์ของพระเดชพระคุณท่านเจ้าคุณ พระวชิรญาณ (หลวงพ่ออติโชติ ธมฺมวโร) เจ้าอาวาส วัดพุทไธศวรรย์ พระอารามหลวง จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา ตั้งแต่ครั้นดำรงค์ตำแหน่งพระปลัดในพระเดชพระคุณ พระพุทไธศวรรย์วรคุณ
หลวงพ่ออติโชติ ดำริเริ่มจากเงินในตู้บริจาค ที่วิหารองค์ท่านพ่อจตุคามรามเทพ ใต้ฐานกุมารเทวราชและกุมารเทวฤทธิ์ เมื่อเต็มตู้ พระเดชพระคุณเจ้าคุณหลวงพ่อโชติ จะนำไปบริจาคเข้าศิริราชมูลนิธิ ซึ่งปัจจุบันก็นำเงินส่วนนี้บริจาคกับศิริราชมูลนิธิ อย่างต่อเนื่อง
กาลต่อมา เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 14 กันยายน 2563 ศริราชมูลนิธิ ได้ปรับระบบและตั้งกองทุนนี้เป็นหน่วยกองทุน อันมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการรักษาพยาบาลผู้ป่วยโรคไต ที่ด้อยโอกาส โดยอยู่ภายใต้เกณฑ์การพิจารณาของคณะแพทย์ โรงพยาบาลศิริราชปิยมหาราชการุณย์
The origin of the charitable fund for the underprivileged, name as the “Gong Tun Por 19 Fund”
This donation is a donation box at the shrine of Father Jatukam Ramathep, under the base of Kumar Thewarat and Kumar Thewarit. When the box is full, Luang Por Atichote will donate to the Siriraj Foundation continuously from the past to the present.
Later, on Monday, September 14, 2020, The Siriraj Foundation adjusted the system and established this fund as a unit fund under the Siriraj Foundation with the objective of providing medical care to underprivileged kidney disease patients, under the criteria of the medical team of Siriraj Piyamaharajkarun Hospital.
旨在帮助贫困群体的‘父亲19基金’的起源。
